Matthew 13:34-35
34 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. 35 So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet:
“I will open my mouth in parables,
I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”
Message Focus:
Why did Yeshua teach so often in parables? Matthew tells us it was not merely a teaching technique—it was part of the prophetic mission of Messiah. This week we look at how Yeshua uses ordinary stories to uncover truths that had been hiding in plain sight.

Next Month's Virtual Outreach Mission:
Our Outreach Mission for October is virtual and highlighting Disability Awareness Month. Through October, we are highlighting Nazarene Way community member Garrett Mayersohn and his passion project, Love on a Roll.
Garrett, born with cerebral palsy, started Love on a Roll to transform lives by championing for disability inclusion by increased access to barrier-free living opportunities for individuals with disabilities, dating for those with physical disabilities and encouraging able-bodied people to become allies of the disability community.
Learn more about Love on a Roll here, and if you feel called to participate in this mission, shop their merchandise and/or donate via their Paypal. Nazarene Way Church has pledged $250 to Love on a Roll this October.
November Outreach Mission:
Saturday, November 7th in Long Beach, CA
We will be going out serving homemade vegan burritos, water, fruit and clothing to the poor. Ways to participate: Join us in person, donate towards food, waters and fruit and/or join us virtually through Youtube where we will go live for a prayer at the start of our mission. Stay tuned for location and timing details.

Nazarene Way Church has sponsored a flight to get an extra photographer out to New York this weekend to help our friend Kameron Waters highlight the animal abuse happening at Kapparot Week. We encourage you to watch what is happening here. Pray for Kam, the entire team and for the animals suffering as he exposes this horrific abuse.
Community zoom hangout this October! Many of our Nazarene Way Church community resides all over the world- which is so amazing! After speaking with many of you via messaging, we have decided to set up a zoom call where we can all meet and connect virtually. This will take place on October 10th at 10am PT. Join the zoom and let's hangout! Our service will be held over this special zoom chat and we cannot wait to meet you virtually. We will send out that zoom link in our monthly newsletter in September.
